The Eastern Ukrainians, mostly of Slavic and Russian origin who fought against the Nazis in WWII, objected the move to Europe, and declared independence from Ukraine. He seems to have lost his nerve and his bravado, and he appeared to be withdrawn and stoic during his latest trip to South American. Worse yet, the Western media have been unloading on him any evil or disaster that happens in Ukraine, and his Russian TV (RT) global broadcasting in many languages is a disgrace and unable to help him set the facts straight.
