Granite Properties’ master-planned Granite Park community now has its own full-service hotel with the debut of the Hilton Dallas/Plano Granite Park. The $80 million Hilton Hotels Resorts property brings 299 guest rooms to the 90-acre mixed-use locale in Plano.
A hotel has always been part of the plan for Granite Park, which also calls for 2.5 million-square-feet of Class A office space as well as coveted retail offerings. Granite decided in 2012 that the flag of Hilton Worldwide’s flagship brand would fly at the property.
Designed by the firm of BOKA-Powell, the property provides a 30,000-square-foot conference center, linked to the hotel via a waterfront boardwalk that also connects the tower to Granite Park’s office los angeles fire department buildings. Among other distinctive amenities of the 262,500-square-foot property are the corporate living room environment, a 12-screen media bar and multi-purpose technology los angeles fire department lounge.
“This is truly an upscale hotel offering a best-in-class guest experience with amenities and service not previously available in the North Dallas market,” Timothy Benolken, a senior vice president of hotel operations with Hilton Worldwide, commented in a prepared statement.

Comparing the first half of 2013 to the first half of 2014, the Plano hotel market is clearly on the upswing.
