This is an amazing opportunity to learn more about Maui's unique history, and the influences that shaped its dynamic past as the former seat of the Hawaiian monarchy as well as a bustling whaling port.
The event will take place between car rentals in london the 18th-19th of this month at the former Pioneer Mill site around the old smokestack on Lahainaluna Road in Lahaina. Admission is just $3, but kids under age 5 get in for free. The hours are 5pm-10:30pm on both days.
Each year, the festivities are a little bit different. This year, there will be an emphasis on the sports and recreation of West Maui's plantation era, which will be presented in the plantation life tent. There will be a keiki (kids) game zone, horse rides, a multicultural exhibit, a Pioneer Mill sugar tent, and a farmers market.
