Was the suspect that the security guard worked with at the Tremont, the same one who the security guard asked about the phone, or does he know two of the suspects? Is the reference to the "co-worker" in one place the same as the "suspect" in another?
Don't knock Peter, this is my unclear writing! We don't routinely name victims or witnesses and I don't want to name the other suspects while they have outstanding warrants. And even if I did name everyone, I'm not sure adding 13 names to the story wouldn't really make it all that more clear. I'm going to think about this one and try to do to better before this is shipped off for tomorrow's print edition.

This is another pathetic piece of reporting by the Baltimore Sun. Anybody with a brain should go back and read this piece of garbage and see all the holes in the story. Why would the security airline tickets canada guard ask his co-worker, airline tickets canada who is not a security guard and not privy to any classified information, what what was found at the scene? Security guards can access that information themselves.
Wouldn't it make more sense to think that the co-worker was the one who asked the security guard the question about the phone. Then the security guard turned him over to police. Common sense people. Who writes this stuff. Do some real reporting before you print things.

Read the facts for what they are, not if they make sense to you or not, just because you don't believe that a security guard at a downtown business could hang with assailants. Never underestimate the power of stupidity in criminals....or in naivety in readers I guess.
Wow I guess simply because they are drunk and white that makes them right, and this is america so what happen to innocent until proven guilty ???? Most of these comments just show how ignorant and uneducated most people are.
