If you love the holidays, and you'd like to spend your 4th of July somewhere different this year, then what about a vacation to Maui ? There are plenty of festivities to enjoy, and instead of a backyard BBQ, you could have one in a beautiful oceanfront resort next to the pool. Maui is a great destination for the whole family, with plenty of fun for kids of all ages.
If you're staying at one of our Lahaina vacation rentals, you'll be just a few minutes away from the Front Street celebrations on foot. If you're staying at one of our lovely beachfront Kaanapali condo s, then it's just a 10 minute drive or so. Lahaina Town will be hosting their annual Fourth of July Concert in the Park from 4:30-10pm.
The festivities will take place on the Lahaina Library Lawn. There will be traditional holiday music, performed by the Maui Community Band, along with pre-show entertainment by the University of Hawaii Maui Institute of Hawaiian Music. In addition, this concert is part of Jazz Maui 2013, which includes events from July 1-7 at various venues. If you enjoy jazz, you might want to attend some of those other events. In case you're wondering, yes, there will be a fireworks show, of course! No self-respecting Fourth free international airline tickets of July town celebration would be complete without one, and funds for it are being raised as we speak. Lahaina fireworks shows traditionally take place over the water, free international airline tickets so if you're not interested in the festival, you could book an evening cruise instead.
