United Continental Holdings Inc (NYSE:UAL)   , which is the leading U.S. airlines flying to Germany,


The service offers flights every day between United s Houston center and Munich, connecting the Bavaria s capital with the U.S. fourth largest city. Houston would now be linked to Munich and other cities of Europe as also with the Middle East and India. In this context, United s Houston center s Vice President, Stephanie Buchanan, said that the airlines would be offering Houston travelers a direct access to more than 71 cities.
United has planned to operate the new service with Boeing 767- 400 airplane which accommodates 242 passengers, of which 39 seats fall under the category of United international airline travel BusinessFirst and the rest in United Economy. The Economy international airline travel class seats include 70 Economy Plus seats which feature extra legroom. The flights are scheduled such that Flight 104 would take off from Bush Intercontinental every day at 4:10 p.m. and would land at Franz Joseph Strauss International Airport in Munich at 9:50 a.m. of the following day. The return flight, Flight 105, will take off from Munich at 9:30 a.m. to reach Houston at 2:20 p.m. of the same day.

The new service is complementary to the everyday nonstop international airline travel service between Frankfurt and Houston that United had launched yesterday, in collaboration with Lufthansa.
An earlier service, United Continental Holdings Inc (NYSE:UAL)    had launched international airline travel in March, offered second daily flights between Houston and Tokyo. The airlines offer as many as 560 flights on an everyday basis from between Houston and other international destinations including those in Asia, Africa, Europe and America. According to Buchanan, the new service after the prior one highlights Houston s importance as a major destination for travel as also a top international gateway.
