Here s the latest update on what s become quite a controversial Hawaii hotel offer. As you recall Ala Moana hotel posted this seemingly too good to be true Hawaii deal earlier this month. We were excited to book it ourselves when we encountered all of the problems we wrote about . So in the end it WAS too good to be true.
The offer has now been updated, which we appreciate, hotels in anaheim and we have it below for your review. It still isn t strictly kosher if you ask us but we ll still give it a go. The new version will now be hosted on woobox.com instead of on the Outrigger site. Woobox is designed for hosting contests so the traffic should not be an issue. When it was hosted on the Outrigger site last week, it virtually crashed their website, preventing visitors from making reservations at all of their 66 worldwide properties .
This is an exceptional albeit limited deal for Waikiki, at a hotel where the room rates are normally starting from $139 per night. As you may recall we featured a  $25 Hawaii deal  at this same hotel two years ago and were able to take advantage of it ourselves. It was great. The location is directly adjacent to Hawaii s main s shopping center and across the street from the iconic hotels in anaheim Ala Moana Beach Park .
I was one of the lucky 200 and was able to book my hotel stays next week. We re going to be on Oahu for 10 days, and for some reason, after 2 months of preparation, hotels in anaheim I only had booked the 2nd half of the trip, and then bam, this deal came around.
There’s been construction along the Ala Wai Canal near Ala Moana Shopping hotels in anaheim Center, a long time favorite free parking hotels in anaheim spot of mine. Last month dozens of free parking spaces were restored. This month, some of those are again blocked hotels in anaheim by construction. It’s always a crap shoot here anyway, as to whether or not you’ll find parking. People sometimes hang out in their cars waiting for someone to leave. Parking is available 24 hours a day

This revised deal is no good,,, they should have adjusted the dates to give people more of a time frame to plan ahead, book airline tickets and book rental car, etc Maybe push the dates further, like May 1 thru July 31.
I tried all day to get through the first time, and only got a lot of frustration. It s still rather confusing where we re actually supposed hotels in anaheim to go to fill out the on-line form and submit it on Monday. I tried the Woodbox link and there s nothing there now. Or will it all be via Facebook? I think the odds of being in the first 200 are about as good as a snowball s chance in hell, but what have I got to lose? It will be an unbelievably good deal for a lucky few!
You d think an outfit like Outrigger would be able to build a website that worked. How frustrating to try to book the Ala Moana tax relief special. It sucked from here (Moloka i). Finally just gave up
On the subject of websites, there s nothing inherently wrong with Outrigger s site. It is rather that websites and booking hotels in anaheim systems were not intended for this type of flash sale which may have had tens of thousands of people trying hotels in anaheim to book simultaneously. That plan was in fact the epic fail, rather than the website.
I hope it would encourage all kinds of people from all walks of life. That is what this is for so people who may be retired and on a fixed income may go, it may be their dream to go to Hawaii one day and this is the only chance they may have. Just because alot of people do not have the means to pay does not mean that they are not worthy of such a promotion.
We make a excellent living on our income but just because we have the means to pay for a 500 dollar a night room doesn t mean that we, as well as most people, can t appreciate such a great deal. By using such a promotion, the money saved could be used on a nice dinner or experience in Hawaii that they may never have a chance to do again.
All that being said, the promotion still does not work; we gave it 3+ hours and tried hundreds of times but to no avail. Apparently the Ala Moana Hotel was really unprepared for the numbers of people who would be interested in such a great deal.
It s a scam they put in small print that it s $50/night for each additional adult. If you have three in the room, the room is $110/night. And let s also keep in mind what kind of guests this promotion is going to encourage
thanks for the info on the $10 rooms. We tried to do it and was able to get to ala moana reservations @ 9:59 am Hawaii time; then as soon as 10:00 am hit; could not get back in; tried continuously for 45 minutes. Is this a joke or what? April s fools day joke? Not too funny ..Tried to put in our dates and then was told numerous times (100+) that page/site was unavailable please try later.
Thank you for the heads up. Too bad my dates are from 5/19-5-25. hotels in anaheim Do you think there would be some kind of price drop after Spring Break? I ve been looking everyday now and it s not going down at all. Plus I m going solo so the price would be quite higher. :/
