You can wrap your laughing gear around a burger served with a side of delicious the fairmont hotel fries at Danny Rock (Via de Pandolfini, 13). They also have a fabulous list of posh beers. This place is great if you want a casual, relaxed meal with a side of football (soccer) up on the big screens. But beware they also have a foosball table that often keeps us out way beyond bedtime!
Our favourite Chinese of the moment however is Il Mandarino Ristorante on Via della Condotta, 17, just around the corner from Piazza della Signora (the square where Michelangelo's David was originally placed).
Just around the corner on Via dei Neri there is a dumpling restaurant called Dim Sum that all the locals are raving about, whilst Kome on Via dei benci, 41/r is the hot spot for teppanyaki. They also have a sushi train option on the first floor.
Pingusto is an all-you-can eat Asian fusion eatery with fun decor and for buffet food, it ain't bad at all.  We especially love the sushi train and the fresh seafood they barbecue on the spot for you.
For a more formal and absolutely delicious Lebanese restaurant experience, visit Valle dei Cedri on Borgo Santa Croce. They have a generous starter sampler that will fill you up with a range of delicious treats that we can never resist ordering.
