Hi ParrotMom, budget rent car most tourist budget rent car hotel offers a free continetal buffet in Rome thses days so my guess would be yes. All the hotels we checked rates on offered free breakfast but some did shown rates with breatfast and without. If I remember correctly, the Sonia Hotel in Rome has a continetal breakfast.
DID WHAT I SHOULD HAVE DONE ORIGINALLY... I just wrote to them and they answered.. an italian continental breakfast. BTW I was asking because a potential guest asked.. and they don't make it clear on their site.
Hi Eschew...yes we miss you... We are doing Sicily, Naples, Corfu,Alexadria overnight, Jerusaleum one day and Haifa for 1 1/2 days and back to Rome. We have not booked any tours in Rome yet, we did Tuscany budget rent car a few years back (Orvieto, Multipulciano and one other town).. last year we did Rome and another day Cinque Terra. What I would like to do is have the hotel arrange a driver/guide to the Trevi and the Coluseum at night.. We have used with great success.. romeinlimo.. First year we used Claudio and last year for Rome we used Salvatore. BTW we were on the Pacific Princess on the Amazon last April..Oh yes.. we had rominlimo for Cinque Terra also and had a driver and guide..it was an incredible experience. In Cairo we are using Ramses Tours..and Guided Tours in Israel...what other ports are you going to.. and PLEASE, PLEASE be careful in Athens and in Rome.. pickpocket are thriving..in Athens an experienced cruiser/traveler lost a brand new Blackberry
Yes, not only the gypsies,but read a story about some seniors in Italy crowding the exit off the bus...and the tourist was pickpocketed.. I have one of those little plastic tubes they use at the beach... and I use a LARGE SAFETY PIN, Parrot Pop has several things he uses.. a metal strap on his camera bag and one on his camera...and a holder he puts inside his pants..also his wallet has a surface which makes it difficult to get out of his front pocket.. Not to mention my "heads up" that I say to him when I feel there is something fishy or people too close.. especially in Barcelona...where budget rent car the pickpockets are in full bloom at the airport and on La Rambla.. We need to buy more Euros next week..hope the exchange rate stays down...compared to last year..yikes.. If you haven't been to Rome..be prepared to be bowled over..I was.
I don't carry a wallet. have not been for eyars. My Chiro told me it is bad for my hip and back. Keep some lose change and spending money on the front pants pocket and that is it. Camera bag strapped to the front with belt clips and shoulder straps. Camera starp around the neck. The only thing is to convince DW not to carry any bag. We travel very light while on shore excursions so we will be even lighter when we are on our own.
