We live in absolutely beautiful country and for as much slack the south gets for being not as open as the East and West coasts, I can honestly say we experienced nothing but warm, southern hospitality and open arms. I didn t experience ANYTHING negative at any point, EXCEPT for one slightly homophobic conversation a family was having at a dinner table behind us at Loveless Cafe in Nashville, but that has nothing hotels in san jose costa rica to do with the restaurant itself.
