There are obviously many factors to consider, but from a pure price perspective, renting dangerous travel to mexico in arizona golf clubs from these outfits for a day (starting at $55-$65) dangerous travel to mexico in arizona can be less expensive than renting from higher-end golf courses and resorts ($75-$100 per day) or shipping your clubs roundtrip (starting at $80-$100).
One other alternative to renting clubs from a resort or national golf rental company is to rent from a regional one. While the regional companies only service a specific state or region within the country, if you happen to be traveling to one of them, you might just be able to take advantage of some great deals. Here are a few notable companies we ve uncovered:
Regarding your comments about club rental serivices, I have not ventured in this territory before, but it sounds like a good way to go. I have rented dangerous travel to mexico in arizona clubs from a few clubs in AZ and I have found the prices to be about $50 for 18 holes. They were either new clubs or one use clubs.
What service dangerous travel to mexico in arizona did you use to have your own clubs sent directly to the hotel or course you are playing??? And if you remember what you paid for this service that would be great to know ..are they insured and was your experience good?? Is Fed-Ex the only shipping company that will provide this service???
Hi Lu, welcome to GVI. I ve been using Shipsticks (shipsticks.com) to send my clubs. Very happy with them. Price varies based on destination and speed, but my shipments were about $50 each way including $1,000 of insurance.
Have you looked at hotels in Golf resort areas that supply dangerous travel to mexico in arizona clubs? If I remember correctly, in 1996 I stayed at The Scores within walking distance dangerous travel to mexico in arizona of the 1st tee at St. Andrews and I got clubs from the hotel and i don t believe there was any charge.
Yes, I researched this quite a bit, albeit dangerous travel to mexico in arizona mostly as US courses and resorts. While there will certainly be exceptions (rentals are included at Shadow Creek, for example), I found that it often costs less to rent comparable clubs (newer models in good/great condition) from these third parties than directly from courses and resorts.
Wish I knew about this before I played a round at Rancho Park in March 2012. Didn t know that you could reserve your rentals in advance, ended up using clubs from the the mid- 90 s. Will definitely be checking them out the next time I go out to LA
Don t forget, Vera, it s $25 EACH WAY to check them. So, $50 total. For a little more, you can rent and forgo the hassle. Granted, they re not your clubs, but some people don t mind. I sometimes play better with rented sticks
I tried a similar service on Maui. Small business run by a guy with a few helpers. Charged $35 for a set of TaylorMade. Should ve checked all the clubs before he left. The driver, 3 wood, 5 wood were left-handed and I didn t realize it till I got to the course. Fortunately I also rented sets for my teenage kids so I borrowed their woods during the round.
My husband and I always take our clubs. If traveling by air be prepared for a TSA inspection of your bag. On several trips, we found our new golf balls would be missing upon arrival. We now drop the golf balls into the bag with the clubs. This makes it very difficult to steal golf balls while inspecting the bag. It s a bit of a hassle upon arrival as we have to dump the bag upside to get the golf balls out but no more stolen items. Whatever you do, do not put a box of golf balls in the bag. We lost a box of ProV1 s this way!
Those of us who require customizations, dangerous travel to mexico in arizona especially lie angle, are out of luck. Also, I m so untrusting of TSA that I won t fly if it is possible to travel by car or train. I have not been on a plane in almost a year!
just came back from palm springs, i ordered online from walmart two sets of clubs, his and hers. Total price for both sets $197.00, dangerous travel to mexico in arizona delivered to walmart on ramon rd. in palm springs, just outside the airport. Clubs were OK. played 6 rounds and donated the
My wife and I rented from Club Hub. Much cheaper than renting at Bandon Dunes. The clubs were new and the service was excellent. I use a regular flex graphite shaft. Their regular flex was steel and they were much stiffer. If I could find a reasonable, safe way to ship my own clubs that is what I would do for a golf vacation. dangerous travel to mexico in arizona I am not do not like taking our clubs through an airport or two.
Wish I d known about that club rental service dangerous travel to mexico in arizona when I played Bethpage Black. The rentals dangerous travel to mexico in arizona there were complete rubbish and ruined the experience. dangerous travel to mexico in arizona Just shows what happens when you allow NY City to run a golf course.
We rented our clubs from StandBy Golf while in the Palm Springs area. $30 a day or $100 for the week great deal , great clubs. Also they booked our tee times and we saved a lot of money. I will use them again. Check them out at standbygolf.com.
Hi all: I have shipped and carried my clubs to Europe and to parts of the US.( that includes Spain , France and Italy and Pebble Beach, Pinehurst, etc.) I used Luggage Forward multiple times absolutely happy with them. That co. used Fed Ex, DHL,. UPS whatever co. works for where I m shipping them. THey have insurance coverage also. I have Never had any trouble with TSA stealing dangerous travel to mexico in arizona anything from my bag. I ve rented a few times from the clubs I ve played at, and like others on this site, only rent if I m playing one round of golf for a day. If I have a couple dangerous travel to mexico in arizona days at the destination, like Edinburgh before St. Andrews, I put them on the plane. If they get lost then the airlines have a couple days to find them. Never had any problems. My clubs are almost custom (lie angles, lite metal shafts on my irons, etc.) but rentals work fine for a nice round at a nice course.
