September 2013 spent 8 nights / The house was clean / beds comfortable / best stocked kitchen of any house I’ve rented and they guys liked that they had nice TV’s, and the best part the VIEW and BEACH in your back yard, This does not have a sandy beach you would run and play in the surf but the kind where you can watch the waves crash against the rocks for hours and search the tide pool for priceless gems while watching the seals play in the water and lounge on the rocks… yes in your own cove (I counted 40 on the rocks at one time) the first part of our stay we had grand kids they loved the tide pools and just a short drive North of Yachats we took them to Beachside state park where they have a nice day use beach and picnic area with a fire pit for S’mores leaving the sand at the beach. Since the house sits on Acres you have a small walk on grass down a slight incline to get to the beach area, I’m overweight so coming back up I stopped a couple times but nothing that kept me from many trips to the water and my parents in there late 70’s also had no problems just took their time. There are also several benches overlooking the beautiful cove strategically located around the grounds. One thing to note: if you do have seniors there is currently 1 bedroom on the main floor, hotel south beach miami the others you either go up or down stairs, my folks wanted the downstairs which has a bathroom, hotel south beach miami ocean view, door out to a small deck and loved it. Mom said it was here favorite house that we’ve stayed at. Everyone had a great time and will be back. Oh and one last thing Yachats is very close to many great attractions, just a short drive in either hotel south beach miami direction… Newport to the north has 2 lighthouses / Sea Aquarium / warf area + more and Depoe Bay is a great place to watch Whales and if you go South you have Cape Perpetua, Dragons Cove, Devils punch bowl, Cape Fowl Weather, Heceta lighthouse and the Sea Lion Caves and if you like waterfalls check out Sweet Creek Falls out of Mapleton I love that walk... hope this helps have a great time!
Nothing could describe the House at Dragon's View. It's a lovely fantasy. It's obviously an old house with a mysterious hotel south beach miami history and it's interior is filled with magical, funny, oddities with even an entire secret hotel south beach miami room for little children where grown-ups can't come in. There is not a thing one would need while visiting - except, PERHAPS, hotel south beach miami a sponge hotel south beach miami in the downstairs bathroom for cleaning hotel south beach miami the tub! A more complete kitchen there couldn't be. The place is conducive to both privacy and socializing. It's a lovely mystery, right down to the Mad Hare and Mermaid. hotel south beach miami Nora Stark
My family and I recently stayed hotel south beach miami 5 nights, and couldn't have found a better rental. The house is exactly as advertised, and then some. We were comfortable hotel south beach miami in all the rooms, and there was more than enough space for all. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots, etc., and we only ate out when we were too far away from the house.
This was my third stay at the house. The location and view are amazing. This year I discovered hotel south beach miami the Oregon coast hiking trail that is across the street from the house. I plan on going back to this house once a year for as long as possible.
After a year of working hard all we wanted was peace and quiet and a sweet place to call our own on the oceanfront for a few days. We could not have been happier. The little beach and rock outcroppings were ours alone to enjoy, save for the sea lions on the island in front of the house. We enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the ocean, appreciating our meals in the dining nook that completely overlooked the waves, taking some quiet time in the lovely library and sitting room, going for hikes on Cape Perpetua, just a stone's throw away. But wait, I forgot to mention the whales. They were feeding in the water so close to the house that it was astounding. The rolled, they arced, they tailed and they kept doing it some more. We were fortunate to have thought to bring a pair of binoculars. Next time we'll bring two! You will not be disappointed with this place. It's definately big enough for three couples or two couples with children. It was just the two of us but believe you me, it was heaven.
Totally enjoyed a week's retreat at the unbelievable house at Dragon's Cove!!! It is partially under renovation and when completed will be incredible. No inconvenience with the renovation, the place is huge and modernized where you want it to be and whimsical with tons of nooks and surprises. Very comfortable with gorgeous views of the rocks and surf. The seals are there every afternoon to loll about on the rocks. hotel south beach miami There is a large grassy area leading from the house to the rocks and plenty of room to have a pick-up game of soccer hotel south beach miami or set up a volleyball net. I see it as a large family reunion waiting to happen! Cape Perpetua is 2 miles away and has many trails of various degrees of difficulty. Yachats is just the right size with sights of its own and several delicious places to dine. The kitchen is complete if you prefer to create your own meals with the seafood choices that abound, not to mention the availability of god quality Oregon hotel south beach miami wines to sample. Books, games, movies available with lots of quilts to wrap up in while you laze about. Completely restorative!
Visiting hotel south beach miami with my Oregon friends at this "magical" and comfortable beach home was truly a memorable respite from work life and a great way to celebrate the end of a Minnesota winter. The combination of majestic cliff-side hotel south beach miami forests and the Oregon coast line's rugged beauty combined to make for a most enjoyable and relaxing stay
The wildness of the coast line gave us many opportunities to see ocean life at its most intimate. We watched hotel south beach miami seal pups swim searching for a way atop the rock to their mothers, cheering them on as they "barked" to get mom's attention. We watched an eagle scavange a stillborn seal from the rock, all the while fending off vultures. And of course, nesting gulls kept us entertained with their courtship displays.
