Hi my husband expedia airline tickets and I would like to go away for a long weekend for our anniversary. We are looking for something relaxing, easy to get to (from the states), and at a reasonable price. We have looked at cruises and there are some good 3-5 day ones out there. I don't know if you get as much with a cruise now as you get with an All Inclusive. I know the cruise pros are that you see more places, your meals (at least the buffets) are included, and someone else does the planning. The cons are that they are crowded, expedia airline tickets everyone getting on and off the boat at the same time and the stops aren't very long at the different areas. We know some All Inclusives have a lot of things to do but you would never leave the property. expedia airline tickets I think the rooms at the hotels would be better than the stateroom that we would select (yes the suites expedia airline tickets are nice but we are more on a oceanview maybe a balcony budget.) We would also have more freedom to do what we wanted on our time frame at an AI.
I am open to suggestions, feedback especially specific places/ cruises. We have looked at a Celebrity cruise that goes to Cozumel and Roatan, leaving out of Miami. We are looking at going in November.
If you don't have to pay airfare to go to a cruise.. it certainly expedia airline tickets is a great bargain.. expedia airline tickets For many years we were going to an all inclusive in the D.R. for a week and now it is definetely more expensive than going on a cruise for a week.. except for airfare.. We btw were on a Celebrity cruise that did Cozumel and Roatan..the Soltice.
Thanks. I have cruised a few times before and I have read on this forum about cruises that advertise 12 restuarants but only the three buffets and the pool side restuarants are free. The other 8 or so come at a charge. I agree with you about alcohol and now cruises are making tips mandatory, we always tip but we prefer to award the best service not have average or terrible servers rewarded. I just wonder about the value with these "hidden" charges. So far I can't find any AI that compares to the cruises so I would agree with the best buy statement despite that.
If you choose Celebrity you certainly won't have a problem with buffet only meals being free. They are an excellent line - one thing we always expedia airline tickets enjoy is their pre dinner Sushi buffet they set up in the Lido restaurant. We always went up and got a sampling to enjoy with our predinner cocktail on the balcony.
