We were put into a *tiny* room with an under-size "double bed" put against the wall on one side. One person has to climb over the other person to get on bed. Basically no space to move around in the room which is too small even for one person. After complaining they managed to move us to a more reasonable room on the next day, which is appreciated. And the service is good. Yet they are charging 4-star price for a 3-star hotel. Not good value at all.
I thought it was quite expensive given how basic it was and the breakfast was pretty average. The double bed was ridiculously small too. All in all I would rate our stay ok. Location is perfect however.
We got the room at very reasonable price so we didn't expect too much of it. It was small and somewhat old, but clean and neat with a harbour view. They didn´t have internet access except in executive floor and there only if you had your own laptop, no good for business travellers. Staff was helpful and nice. Lots of loud chinese guests, which bothered us little since the walls and doors were thin.
Rooms are not large but are by no means small for HK standards and are very clean. We didn't eat here so cannot comment on that aspect but we used the pool - again not large but OK to cool off. Staff are very good and honest; we left some Oakley sunglasses behind and phoned the hotel some hours later. They had found the glasses worth over £100 and kept them for us until we returned to Hong Kong 2 weeks later. The same cannot be said of staff in a Bangkok hotel where a silver ring was left in the room and by the time we went back, some five minutes later, the cleaners denied seeing it.
