i am trying to find a hotel that is not too expensive near the nightlife. anyone from montreal that 1. knows which clubs are good that are not all really young people and 2. knows if rue montcalm is walking distance to crescent st which is apparently where all the clubs are? thanks a bunch.
There s the Quality Inn *on* Crescent, and a pretty good deal, in my opinion. You re literally a one minute walk up the street to the popular bars and clubs. There is also the Chateau Royal Suites which is across the street from the clubs, so a 15 second walk to the hot spots. You re also right in the center of downtown, so shopping and restaurants are all there.
