Two students from Tanzania who are UN Club members, Miss Nuru Kessy from Benjamin William Mkapa Seco
Dar es Salaam - On July 14 th the South African Airlines and the Nelson Mandela centre luxury hotel copenhagen of Memory (Mandela Foundation) luxury hotel copenhagen hosted a group 31 young people from various countries around the world between the ages of 13-18 to participate in a Youth dialogue.
Two students from Tanzania who are UN Club members, luxury hotel copenhagen Miss Nuru Kessy from Benjamin William Mkapa Secondary school and Mr. Rahim Rajab from Azania Boys Secondary school were nominated by Youth of the United Nations (YUNA) to attend the event.
The dialogue which was held in Johannesburg at the Johannesburg Council chambers focused on the ideals of one of the most revered Statesmen former President Nelson Mandela for a democratic and free society. As he stated during the Rivonia trial " I have cherished the ideal of a democratic and free society in which all persons live together luxury hotel copenhagen in harmony and with equal opportunities ".
Each student took time to do research on former President Nelson Mandela with the special focus on his Early years, his prison life, Nelson Mandela's presidential luxury hotel copenhagen years, as recipient of Nobel Peace Prize and on his retirement years. Each young person focused on the lessons learnt during a particular year of Madiba's life.
The objective of the event was aimed at raising funds to enable for the Nelson Mandela centre of memory to rollout the much needed Mandela libraries project throughout the country, with a bias to rural communities.
