In celebration of our value of Minagof (Happiness . . . we rejoice everyday as we reach our goals, celebrate our accomplishments, and share our happiness with all ), please join the Outrigger Guam familia (family) in congratulating Leonida Lanada and Jennifer Joseph for receiving the Guam Hotel and Restaurant Association's (GHRA) Beyond the Call of Duty Integrity Award. This prestigious award recognizes people for actions performed beyond their outlined job description in protecting property and/or initiating the return process for lost or stolen property.
Leonida and Jennifer, who are both Room Attendants at the Outrigger Guam Resort, received this award during the First Quarter General Membership Meeting held on March 19, 2009, at the Westin Resort Guam. GHRA commended Leonida and Jennifer for their honesty, integrity, and quick action when they each received a $100 tip on separate and unrelated occasions. international travel warnings Leonida and Jennifer both knew that their larger-than-normal tips were mistakes and reported the amounts to their Manager on Duty immediately. In both instances, the money was returned to the guests, who were most appreciative and highly impressed with the Inafa`maolek Spirit (Hospitality) shown by Jennifer and Leonida.
