A one-day, one-park ticket for Universal is now more than $92 after tax, compared to the previous $8

Disney's Magic Kingdom has been under extensive reconstruction since early 2010, according to WDW Magic fan page, but recently opened its first phase of new attractions. Under the Sea — Journey las vegas downtown hotels of the Little Mermaid, Ariel's Grotto and Enchanted las vegas downtown hotels Tales with Belle, among other fairy-tale themed plans are responsible for the $6 price hike. A one-day, one-park ticket is now $95 on site, but only $65 at the SGA Ticket Center.
"We have contracts with each of the large theme parks, and those contracts run through October. That price stands until the end of the contract term, then we will negotiate a new contracted price," Phillips said.

Universal Orlando has also been adding numerous new attractions. Some of the projects included in the expansion are The Simpsons Springfield, the upcoming grand opening of the Transformers ride and the expansion of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Harry Potter fans will get to experience a whole new area based off Diagon Alley. A new marquee ride, restaurant, shops and train are to be featured, according to Fox News. But rising ticket prices aren't just for Harry Potter fans.
"On average, the amount of tickets we purchase is between 300 and 2,000 per order," Phillips said. "We make it so we don't have to place an order every month for the parks we know are the most popular."
According to the Tampa Tribune , SeaWorld has not announced the exact reason for the price hike, but one could speculate it's because of the park's largest expansion in it's 39-year history, Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin.
This new attraction combines animal interactions and a family ride, and passengers explore the South Pole through the eyes of a penguin. The Orlando Sentinel reported that some visitors waited four hours to experience the new ride for a costly las vegas downtown hotels price.
