Duration anything from 7 to 12 nights approx and we are happy to fly to join the cruise or sail from
I've considered taking a cruise two or three times in the past but have never quite gotten jagermeister music tour over the finish line. I find the sheer number of cruises, itineraries, room types, gratuities etc quite daunting for someone with no previous experience of cruising. I'm used to going on all inclusive holidays with the family so have always enjoyed that almost everything jagermeister music tour is paid for in advance etc.
In addition to our family holiday later in the year my wife and I have decided to treat ourselves to a break on our own and would like to do something slightly different to the norm and we both love the idea of a cruise.
I suppose the best way to describe what we are after is affordable luxury, jagermeister music tour so probably a 5 star cruise jagermeister music tour line. Something with a bit of a wow factor. Unfortunately, don't jagermeister music tour think I could afford the six star options !
Duration anything from 7 to 12 nights approx and we are happy to fly to join the cruise or sail from the UK. Sometime between March and June this year, although it would need to be in the second half of each month.
jagermeister music tour I have been looking at Celebrity which I believe are an excellent cruise line and they do have one or two things that interested me. The first one was a 8 night Pacific Coastal Cruise on the 21st March from Los Angeles jagermeister music tour on Celebrity Century. The price for this is £2,878 based on a balcony jagermeister music tour cabin and this includes flights from Edinburgh and an overnight stay in a hotel in Los Angeles. The other is a 7 night Southern Caribbean Cruise on the 22nd March from San Juan on Celebrity Summit. The price for this is £3,550 based on an Aqua Class Stateroom and again with flights from Edinburgh and an overnight stay in San Juan. These prices are direct from the Celebrity website but I understand from reading this website that a cruise agent will usually offer a better deal than booking it direct with the cruise company ?
I can thoroughly recommend jagermeister music tour Celebrity and they seem to fit what you're looking for, though many people jagermeister music tour will give other suggestions too. If you want a ship with a huge Wow factor, I'd recommend one of their Solstice Class ships (Solstice, Equinox, Eclipse, Silhouette, and Reflection) as they are new and absolutely stunning!
You can read my blog and review of my cruise on Celebrity Eclipse and my blog and review of Celebrity Infinity (a Millennium Class ship like Summit) on my blog. I've linked jagermeister music tour to the review and the first post of each.
Edit: With regards to your comment about booking you can certainly jagermeister music tour book direct with Celebrity and the price you pay is likely jagermeister music tour to be the same as with a TA. Many prefer booking with a TA for the extra assistance they can offer in certain circumstances. If you'd rather deal with a TA you may be interested to know that this forum is operated by a Cruise Specialist Travel jagermeister music tour Agent called Cruise.co.uk who have many agents who will help you through the whole process.
I've used Richard Smith from Cruise.co.uk jagermeister music tour before who is excellent and can be reached by e-mail or by calling 0800 408 6095. Other forum members have used other agents with great service too, and will have their own recommendations.
I don't know where you want to cruise to, and this will affect the price, but I would say you're not looking at Celebrity, Cunard etc, but more Regent/Seabourn/Oceania and Azamara. I'd add Crystal but they WILL be 6* prices.

Celebrity is a good first choice as a 5 star cruise, as would be Princess as a similar alternative, neither being over formal, typically two formal evenings the rest being smart casual no jacket required and in that part of the world most Americans don sports jacket and trousers on 'formal' nights.
I am booked on the Pacific Coastal but not on your dates and although I am a big Celebrity fan I think it only fair to point out that Century is on its last season of duty with Celebrity being the oldest boat in the fleet, so it is not going to have the wow factor of newer things afloat. That said, it is a traditional cruise ship in the true sense of the word, no rock climbing, ice rinks or swings and roundabouts and I can honestly say food and service jagermeister music tour was excellent the last time I was on her.
As for gratuities they can always be incorporated at the time of booking, but bear in mind some agents offer half price deals for upfront payment, as can drinks jagermeister music tour packages be offered as an incentive. You need to shop around the major cruise agents to see what's on offer.
Hi Glen and welcome to the forum. jagermeister music tour For my first ever cruise I didn't see the point in splashing too much cash because jagermeister music tour I wasn't sure if I was going to like the cruising experience or not i.e. would I get my sealegs quickly, what would the food and entertainment be like, etc. etc.
So I took a cruise in the Med with Thomsons on a small ship that got bounced jagermeister music tour around quite a lot and was mostly Brits onboard and as luck would have it I loved it and on my return was ready to book my next cruise. Having established I liked the cruise lifestyle I booked my subsequent cruises with Celebrity and several other lines since.
I personally like MSC as they are an Italian cruise line with larger modern ships which definitely have a wow factor and you get to meet people from other countries jagermeister music tour not only Brits and Americans who frequent the other lines. Their prices are very competitive as well but you just need to avoid school holidays as they have a 'children go free' policy which might make it too busy for your liking.
So I'd recommend an 11 day cruise on MSC Divina or MSC Splendida as a starter to see how you like the cruising lifestyle then you may wish to try out other more costly lines afterwards to compare the variety of products until you find one which matches your needs.
I think you're wise to consider Celebrity and/or Princess for a first cruise, but have to say those prices you've been given look VERY expensive. For the Caribbean, you can have a full suite on the new Royal Princess jagermeister music tour for just under £1000 - that's for 7 nights in February rather than March, but of course other Princess ships do the route. You'd need the flights too, but they certainly won't cost the difference of £2500!! Personally I'd aim to get the best cabin you can for the price, then use the difference on the things you mentioned - drinks packages, premium jagermeister music tour restaurants, etc
The ships are described as 'More inclusive', most drinks, except premium brands, jagermeister music tour are included in the cost of the cruise, together with speciality coffees, gratuities and shuttle buses if needed. The dress code is 'Country Club Casual', which means no formal nights, although most guests do dress well in the evening.
There are a few cruises on Azamara Quest that may be of interest. March 16 - 11 nights 'West Indies Hideaway', April 22 -8 nights 'French Riviera to Rome', June 21 - 7 nights 'Greek Islands and Turkey'.
