I agree with everyone, I loved the Summit and have been to Bermuda 4 times. So easy to get around ev
The Summit came out in 2001 but has been recently "Solsticized" with many of the new features of the Solstice Class ships. I would expect you should experience the refined dining and service Celebrity is known for. I went to Bermuda with Celebrity on the Zenith in 2005. I could be wrong, but I don't remember the shops and casino being closed the whole time while in Bermuda. I think they get special permission to open. Bermuda does have a lot to offer. You can learn a lot about Bermuda Here
We cruised on the Summit from Puerto Rico in November and had a wonderful cruise. This was just before the refit and the cabins were a little tired but nothing that you would complain about - so the refit should make it even better!
Food in the main dining room, buffet, cafe and speciality restaurant were all excellent. Lots of choice and all good. Entertainment wasnt the best and the ship went very quiet at about 10.30pm, even in the casino but this could have just been the week we were on it. Staff were very friendly and did go out of their way to help you and were very attentive. Drinks were a little benjamin hotel new york city pricy, but that is the same on many of the ships, we are not big drinkers so didnt affect us much.
I agree with everyone, I loved the Summit and have been to Bermuda 4 times. So easy to get around everything is right where you dock and transportation is easy with the Pink suttles and Ferry right there. The beaches are some of the most beautiful. Enjoy !!
