Richmond, VA)  The Virginia Auctioneers Association(VAA) hosted is 55 th Annual Educational Convention at the Omni Hotel in Richmond, Va from January 11-13 th .  More than 140 auctioneers and auction professionals attended the multi-day event.
Several members received awards at Saturday evening banquet.  The award for “Auctioneer of the Year” went to Ben Yoder of Stuarts Draft, Va.  The Jake Horney Memorial Award went to J.T. Clark of Mechanicsville, Va.  For “Hall of Fame” there were two inductees; Roger Craig of Verona, atlanta and hotels and lodging and downtown VA and the women of the VAA Auxiliary.
