Ticket prices for the happiest places on earth are about to go up again, but that really isn t anything that should be too shocking. Walt Disney World and Disneyland are both set to raise the prices of their park tickets soon, and that also includes a couple of changes that could be coming to different additions and subtractions.
According to WDWNT , Disney Parks ticket prices are expected to go up sometime in mid-February. The increase is said to be a small increase, and there is no exact pricing to put in perspective as of yet.
For years, there has been speculation that the No Expiration ticket option airline ticket prices would be going away, and it appears as though it will finally happen. While not yet confirmed by Disney, the No Expiration option will cease to exist as of about mid-February.
Currently, airline ticket prices that option allows visitors to purchase it and hold onto any unused days on their park tickets. If the option is gone, then any days will likely expire 14 days after first use at Disney Parks.
The other change that could end up coming to Walt Disney World is that a Water Park Hopper airline ticket prices could be introduced as a new add-on. It could just be for single day tickets or it could be applied airline ticket prices to multi-day tickets a well.
The Disney ticket price increases are not uncommon and have been happening annually for years now. CNN reports that it was near the end of February airline ticket prices in 2014 that the prices went up, but no serious changes were made.
Disney has not yet given any comment on these reported ticket price increases and/or changes. It s not totally unexpected though as Disney has been doing it every year, as has Universal Studios, SeaWorld, and other major theme parks.
Considering the changes being made all around the Disney Parks in the next few years, it s not out of the question for ticket price increases. Walt Disney World and Disneyland are bringing airline ticket prices a lot of new things, and the ticket prices likely won t hurt them in attendance.
yeah, no kidding .I haven t been able to go there since 2001 when I graduated High school .I was going to try to save up for a trip once I got a job, but now they re just making it harder ..seriously, prices ALWAYS go up on EVERYTHING every time minimum wage goes up .so it totally defeats the purpose of minimum wage even going up I mean, come on, no wonder there are more homeless, and less jobs out there .the economy is sinking, and all these people that make umpteen billion dollars airline ticket prices a year dont really see the bigger picture of whats going on around them they re too busy over charging people for all they have, and taking advantage, all so they can drive their fancy new cars, and live in their big fancy mansion-like houses .humanity is doomed, and I don t see any REAL change for people on the horizon .
Some day people will start to not go due to pricing. I do not go often, just when I can afford the seven day tickets for myself. I am not married, all my children have their own families. I do not stay on property airline ticket prices any more or at least the expensive hotels. There is one on property I stay at that is the Best Western still on their bus trail in Florida WDW. Normally it is only 99.00 a night. I would stay off property for sure at Disneyland!
