It could have been nothing but a smashing success for Kenny Chesney to team up with Tim McGraw this summer for a mega tour around the country, and that has been exactly the case for this tour-savvy pair of country stars. Chesney and McGraw are two of the biggest names in country music, and their Brothers of the Sun Tour has been reported as one of the biggest-selling tours of the week this week by Billboard.
After jumpstarting the summer-long tour in Tampa at the massive Raymond James Stadium on June 2, Chesney and McGraw have shot off into the abyss of summertime venice walking tours tour dates, springing into step with successive stadium shows at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia; Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas; and Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.
For these above-mentioned concerts from June 2-10, the Brothers of the Sun Tour raked in a cool $16,498,065, with an attendance topping 186,182 combined. Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney were joined along with opening acts Grace Potter the Nocturnals as well as Jake Owen, who will accompany them for most shows on the tour this summer and fall.
