We couldn't believe the price to sail with Cunard. We were planning a trip to the Italian lakes but

Is it the Costa incidents or the recession or even a combination of both that is causing the lack of passenders. I have recently returned from a cruise on Caribbean Princess and it was rumoured that they had approx 300 cabins empty - certainly the ship was nowhere near full!

As more new and bigger ships come on line so the competition gets hotter with more cabins to sell. I think next year will offer the real bargains for those prepared to wait until the last minute especially if sailing hawaiian airlines web mail from the UK with more ships being based here including I have been told the Carnival Breeze.
