101 East Alameda CVS Pharmacy, shortly before 9 a.m. on February 17, at took a walking cane.  While exiting the store, he is stopped by an employee.  The man raises the can as if to strike the employee, causing the employee to back off in fear of being injured.  The suspect them fled the area.  Police officers located the suspect a short time later and took him into custody.  Jim Riggins, 51, of El Monte, was arrested for robbery.  In addition to the cane, several item from CVS were recovered from his person, and returned to the store.  His bail was set $50,000.
When police pulled over the driver of a gold-colored 1987 BMW for speeding on Glenoaks Blvd. at Cedar Ave.,February 17, at 5 a.m., they discovered the driver had a warrant for his arrest for marijuana possession. As officers were doing an inventory search of his car hey located approximately 47 pills in an unmarked bottle, believed to be Ecstasy and Adderal (a form of methamphetamine).  The driver, Derek DeCastro Palma, palm springs vacation rentals 21, of Burbank, was booked into the Burbank jail, with bail set at $10,000.
In the first incident a woman entered the gym around 10 p.m. on February 16, and placed her purse in one of the secured lockers in the women's locker room.  When she returned from her workout, she discovered palm springs vacation rentals that her purse, containing cash, crecit cards, and car keys, was missing.

Police officers responded to The Office Bar and Grill located at 3516 W. Victory Blvd. shortly before 2 a.m. on February 16, after receiving a report of a fight with weapons possibly involved.  Upon their arrival, witnesses reported that a dark colored truck that had just fled the scene, was involved in the fight.    Officers were able to locate the truck, and stopped it at Vanowen St. and Tujunga Ave. in North Hollywood.

Witness reported seeing a man beating a child and people chasing each other  around a van parked near Burbank Kawasaki, 1329 Hollywood Way,  around 2:15 p.m. on February 14. .  Witness observed the male adult striking the boy with an object.  The two adults seen chasing each other were later determined to be the boy's mother and her boyfriend.  When officers arrived at the scene, the van had an left the area, but was located a short time later at Magnolia Blvd. and Lima St.
Officers determined that the man, Davariay Hawthorne, 20, of Sacramento, was the boyfriend of the boy's mother.  He reportedly struck the boy several times about the body with a belt.  The boy had no obvious signs of injury.  Hawtorne was placed under arrest for child endangerment and giving false identification to a police officer.  He was transported to the Burbank Jail, with bail set at $100,000.
Officers conducting routine patrol in the Ramada Inn located at 2900 N. San Fernando Blvd., contacted a woman in the parking lot at 12:05 a.m. February 13.  They determined palm springs vacation rentals she was on probation for narcotics palm springs vacation rentals violations. palm springs vacation rentals  When they went to the room she had rented at the hotel, they found numerous other people inside.  The officers detected the odor of marijuana and observed paraphernalia in plain sight. Narcotics were located inside the room. Arrested were Anthony Pereda, 23, Ti Dixon, 32, Michell Bejar, 20, all of Burbank; Vahe Kesishyan, 30, of Glendale; Sarah Sullivan, 23, of Crowley Lake; and a male and female juvenile.  The adults were booked into the Burbank Jail, and the juvenile were cited and released to their mothers.
According to Burbank Police, (Name Removed)a 22 year-old Glendale man, was involved in the incident with another motorist shortly after 5 p.m., at Victory Blvd. and Parish Pl., when words were exchanged and an ice cream cone was thrown at one of the cars.  When the two drivers stopped near Victory Blvd. and Burbank Blvd., the man got out of his vehicle with a tire iron in his hand, and threatened the other driver.
When officers stopped a vehicle for a routine traffic stop, they found that the driver was in possession of methamphetamine. Armenak Azatian, 40, of Burbank, was also in possession of drug paraphernalia.  He is currently on probation for identity theft.
