There's plenty of room in Tampa for as many Bern's restaurants as they want to open...am I right? Élevage is located inside our city's new Epicurean Hotel (just across the street from SideBern's on Howard)...and a chic and wondrous hotel it is. After being as warmly greeted as Prince William and Kate Middleton might've been (albiet, we're much longer in the tooth), our car was whisked away by the charming valets and we were ushered into the stunning hotel lobby (the registration desk was a huge wine case). The first words out of my mouth were, "let's get one thing straight, UD, we're coming back here and spending the night"...which left me feeling pretty optimistic as I received zero sass by way of rebuttal (rare, indeed!).
Service was knowledgable and adequate, albeit phoenix regional airport car rentals a tad slow. Still, good food is worth waiting for and our brunch selections truly delivered.
