Unfortunately, in the great state of Connecticut, there are many people that cannot afford food for their families. The holidays are one of the most important time of the year where we need your help, even if you can't cook!
With local food banks, one can donate supplies like the non-perishable foods.  In addition, we are collecting, money to help make charity efforts easier, or your can donate your time so that you can see what a difference you make directly. Volunteers are needed to aid everywhere to offices to warehouse to kitchens, and there are facilities throughout Connecticut to aid the hungry. You can check in with groups like the Connecticut Food Bank . Residents of Seramonte can also help out at the Hamden Food Bank .
Seramonte and Montoya Leasing offices have set up designated areas in where residents san diego hotels (or anyone who feels like donating) can deposit donations of nonperishable foods in non-breakable containers.  The food collected will be donated to local organizations that distribute food to the needy.
