The Press of Atlantic City reports the most recent employment figures compiled by the New Jersey Casino Control Commission show that Borgata had 6,685 workers in September. A 3 percent cut would equal about 200 jobs.
What the hell do they expect. None of the Hotels or Casinio s in AC do anything to attract business. It s not the economy its the management that is killing the tourism and gamming in AC. Prices are through celebrity cruise the roof for everything celebrity cruise from a hotel room to the so called all you can eat buffett, then they expect you to gamble. If they offered incentive to go people will come not have them blow almost 700 dollars on a room and dinner before they even hit the slots people fell that they are getting a deal and will play at the tables.
Wow the leading casino in Atlantic City finally is publicly showing that it s hurt. Maybe if they got to know their customers a little bit better they wouldn t be down 7% they d be up 7%. I myself haven t been down there a lot this year. Maybe 2 3 times compared to the 6 7 times that I d normally be down there and it s not because I don t have the $$ either. I am honestly comparing how Trump treats their customers vs The Borgata and from what I see and I m talking on a waiter to slot host range here, the experience is much more enjoyable at lets say trump plaza. Now the gambling aspect of it? I ve never hit so much at a casino like I ve hit at the Borgata and I m talking both slots and tables. They need to tend to the customers better even those that just go and spend $1000 and treat them better. They will retain their customer base much better. More common sense .what I m saying here. Hopefully their CEO reads it lol.
