Although I love hotels, I often prefer to rent an apartment while on vacation, particularly if I am staying for a week or more. Over the years I have rented a studio in New York for a quick trip with a friend, a two-bedroom in the heart of Rome for a recent family getaway, and a luxurious hotels manhattan flat in Paris for a family reunion.
