D/FW Airport had about 100 flight departures cancelled as of 3:30 p.m. today, but delays improved, said spokeswoman Cynthia Vega. All of the airport s runways were open and security checkpoint waits were less than 15 minutes, she said.
Fort Worth-based American cancelled about 500 flights nationwide as of 5 p.m. today, said American spokesman Matt Miller. Those cancellations included reviews new world renaissance hotel kowloon hong kong 375 to and from D/FW Airport, with most of them being on American Eagle regional flights, he said.
"We re working to re-accommodate customers as best and as quickly as possible based on their individual travel plans," he said. "We apologize for the inconvenience and encourage everyone to check AA.com before they head to the airport today and tomorrow."
