So the honeymoon part has been the hardest part for my FI and I to decide on. He was like "Where do

So the honeymoon part has been the hardest part for my FI and I to decide on. He was like "Where do you want to go?" and my brain just stalled out. I researched every destination and was just like "meh". I finally decided on doing a two-part honeymoon.... a beachy trip after the wedding and a ski trip in the winter so that we can fulfill things that he and I like to do. Also if we space it out this way, we can afford Part B - The Ski Trip a bit more.
So after much discussion with him, we decided to book a honeymoon "mini-moon" cruise to Bermuda in August. I've always wanted to go, and I like how we get to spend 2.5 days berthed at the island to run around and have as much fun as we please. I booked it over the weekend, and we have until May to decide if we want to put down the final payment. We are getting an outside view cabin (can't afford a balcony, plus I'm scared of heights, lol)... I think the total is going to be around $3000 and we both get a free alcoholic drink package, of which I plan to take full advantage!
However, I'm still not sure if this cruise is THE Honeymoon Vacay I want to go on. I guess I'm worried that he'll hate it, although he's assured me that he'll love it and all he wants to do is get away with me. I'm not loving how much the cruise honeymoon will cost in total, although pricing out airfare, hotel, meals, transportation new habbo hotel in Bermuda comes out way higher... I guess I was used to Carribean cruise pricing which is way less. When I initially brought this up as an idea I was thinking we could get a better deal and not spend as much. I offered to help pay for part of the honeymoon because I want to take a specific cruise line to Bermuda (Celebrity) as I think it will be more classy, have better food, and more importantly not have tons of kids on the ship (I hope, Screaming kids does not a fantastic new habbo hotel honeymoon make). I don't want to take a carribean cruise, I've already done that and so has he, and I really want to go somewhere else....and I've always wanted to go to Bermuda. Pink sand, hello!
Am I overthinking things or is there somewhere else fun that we could go, perhaps for a bit cheaper, in August? As I said, I have 3 months to come to a decision before new habbo hotel we are completely locked in. Should new habbo hotel I just suck up the cost of the cruise and just enjoy myself??
Celebrity is a great cruise line... when it comes to service, food wine etc. And the offer they have on right now with getting the Classic Alcohol Package for FREE is a good one (value aprox $ 365 per person).
Good move booking early... that and telling them it is your Honeymoon... and you might luck out and get upgraded after final payment is made. It is a crap-shoot, but chances are usually higher for those 2 criteria (in any case, accommodations on Celebrity new habbo hotel are great, so there really isn't a bad cabin)
@PeachSnapple: I think you will have a great time! It sound as if your major 2 concerns are that your FI / DH (!) will not like it $$$ being spent. Focus on what your FI DOES enjoy - quality food rather than buffet? Look into the specialty restaurants Celebrity offers...has he wanted to do a particular new habbo hotel activity? Youmay be abel to do it once in port. Or does he enjoy quality beer - head to Michael's craft bar or nice wine? Sign up for a Riedel workshop..
I guess I needed some support new habbo hotel that I didn't "overpay" for this cruise, and that Bermuda won't be a let down. I cruised on Celebrity about 10 years ago and loved it then, and hope its as nice or better now. FI does enjoy quality food, which steered me to Celebrity too. He has only been to Bermuda once, and it was a work trip and he only got off-site once. From that trip he brought me home a bottle of the pink sand, so I'm looking forward to seeing it with him again this time.
I guess I was just hoping I could find a better deal, but at least I have a few months to decide before we put the final payment down. I'm normally a girl after great deals for trips and paying this much, even though its for both of us and covers so much (food, drinks, alcohol, desserts, room, vacation), it still seems like a lot. I was hoping to spend less on our "mini-moon" but I think this has basically turned into a full fledge honeymoon....
