I suddenly have cravings for some Pad Thai and other Thai foods after this post. It looks delicious!

Welcome to another week of Travel Photo Thursday. Eating out in Chiang Mai is a real treat for budget travelers. Not only is the food cheap, but it s delicious. Many of the small local joints serve up one specialty, and they often become known far and wide. The Pad Thai on Chiang Moi Road, Soi 3 is just such a place. Have a look and see what you think.
How hot you like your Pad Thai is up to you. All condiments (including chili) are available at your table. You also receive a plate with spring onion, bean sprouts, lemon and cabbage. I always chicago cubs tickets online add chili (hotter is better!), the lemon, and I eat the spring onion and lettuce when my mouth gets a little too hot. Both do a great job of bringing a little cool relief.
Located just outside the moat in Chiang Mai s old city, Chang Moi Road, Soi 3. There s a sign at the beginning of Soi 3. You can also come in from Thapae Gate Road. Look for the simple sign Pad Thai . Open from around 5pm until 11pm. Busiest time seem to be between 6 and 8. Lot s of  Thais on motorbikes lined up for takeout.
I suddenly have cravings for some Pad Thai and other Thai foods after this post. It looks delicious! I can t get over how cheap they are even for small portions. Thai food is one of my favorites. Thanks for the recipe, Nancie!
I love going to markets and street stalls overseas. Always so interesting. When we were in France in 2005 our French friends took us to a market and bought all sorts of bread, cheese, meat, olives etc for lunch and then we sat on the waterfront and ate it. We even had tourists stop and take a photo!
