I'm not sure the point either, El. If it's taxes and fees, look at Zipcar/PCS. They have to charge $2 plus 12% on every rental, making the tax on a one hour rental of $7.25/hour (weekday zipcar) $2.87, monterey plaza hotel and spa or an additional 40%.
If it's the price, I highly recommend monterey plaza hotel and spa picking up weekend rentals at the airport (you will save even paying the airport fare to get down there) and using one of the below methods to rent. All of the below use a 4 day midsize weekend rental at PHL next weekend:
