According to GTA, Kuala Lumpur remains Malaysia’s most popular destination for Indian travellers as many use it as a base to explore the rest of the country. The number of room nights booked there increased by 64% in 2013.Penang and Petaling Jaya have both overtaken Langkawi in popularity as Indians become more familiar with all that Malaysia offers. The number of room nights booked in Petaling Jaya in 2013 has risen by more than five times, while Penang saw bookings nearly quadruple
