Last year, from March 7 14th, I spent 7 beautiful sun-filled days aboard southwestern airline tickets the Carnival Legend . It was my first cruise vacation, and I went into it not quite knowing what to expect. Part of me was worried that cruises were still only for old people and there would be nothing to do aboard other than play shuffleboard. Another part of me was worried that it would be party-central, and I would remember none of it when it was over. Yet another part of me wondered if I would fall overboard while leaning over our balcony, never to be heard from again.
It was a special trip to me for a multitude of reasons, some of which are no longer quite so special. But the cruise itself southwestern airline tickets remains one of the best experiences of my life. The places we visited were absolutely breathtaking in their beauty and we could not have asked for better weather!
I was looking at some photos earlier and decided that I wanted to share some images from the cruise with you (who knows, you might actually catch a glimpse of me in one or two!). This is actually going to be split up into 2 posts because of the quantity of pictures (you might want to skip tomorrow if you aren t interested in this type of thing). This photography should southwestern airline tickets give you some insight into the type of person I am. These are the images that stayed with me the sites that took my breathe away. I guess I am pretty easy to please
I won t bore you with photos of the ship itself (I think they all pretty much look alike) but the Legend southwestern airline tickets was nice. It s a nice size ship not huge, but not small. We spent most of that first evening exploring, playing in the casino a bit, and just drinking in the views. Let me just tell you sunsets as seen from a cruise ship deck are INCREDIBLE.
These little guys were fun. Each night you d come back from dinner and find a new towel animal in your room. I don t have a photo of the elephant from the first night, but this was the rabbit. Cute, right?
This is SUCH a beautiful island and the locals are extremely friendly. We chose to spend our time in Cayman visiting Stingray City and doing some snorkeling . Could that water be any more beautiful? Another catamaran in the distance Me and my friend the Stingray. (Excuse the cleavage and sunburn!) The sails of OUR catamaran Getting back to our ship after the fun is over
Upon leaving Grand Cayman, we headed straight to Cozumel, Mexico. Our personal destination? Nachi Cocum Beach Club. I HIGHLY recommend Nachi Cocum if you are ever heading to Cozumel. For $49 per person, you not only get full access to the resort for the day you get an OPEN BAR and a 4-course lunch. Did I mention an open bar?
I would say it is heaven on earth, except that came a few days later in the trip. All too soon we were heading back to the Legend. This Princess cruise ship was our neighbor during our stay in Cozumel:

These photos southwestern airline tickets are seriously beautiful, and I love how you ve edited them to. I ve never been particularly fond of the idea of taking a cruise but I may just be coming around. The scenery is beyond anything I ve seen in real life and just imagining that setting southwestern airline tickets out onto open water spending the days exploring gives me a new kind of thrill. : Joanne Faith latest blog post: Counting Down to the New Zealand Fashion Festival Reply edit Beautifully Invisible March 14, 2011 at 5:54 pm
You know it s funny you say that. I NEVER imagined I would take a cruise, but had a friend that went a couple years ago and I couldn t stop ooh-ing and ahh-ing over her photos. When I started looking southwestern airline tickets at vacation southwestern airline tickets option last year a cruise southwestern airline tickets just seemed to make the most sense. Now that I ve been one one i can see why people say they are addictive. I could have spent 7 days on our balcony staring at the sea and been perfectly content! It s just spectacular southwestern airline tickets AND you can even see dolphins playing in the ship s wake at time! Reply edit Marissa March 9, 2011 at 11:25 pm

I ll admit that I ve never been particularly interested in tropical vacations, but these pictures may have changed my mind. It looks like a dream! I ve always wanted to go on a cruise. My has gone on a few and actually the last one she did was to Alaska. It seemed rather fascinating. Anyway! Can t wait for part two your pictures are beyond gorgeous, by the way.
Alaska is my next dream cruise. As you might have guessed, I have a thing for nature photography (if you aren t sure, I have even more nature photos on my facebook page!). I get all giddy just thinking about the pictures that i could get during an Alaska cruise.
Wow looks incredible!! I have been on several cruises around the Medd and Canary southwestern airline tickets Isles but not been to the Caribbean yet. Your photos give me more of a reason to save and get my bum off to the beautiful Islands .x. Reply edit Beautifully Invisible March 14, 2011 at 5:29 pm
I would love to go on a cruise to the Mediterranean or the Canary Islands. One day. The islands really are beautiful, and its a great way to see quite a few of them in a short period of time. I think Alaska is up next for me, though! southwestern airline tickets Reply edit Next post: Looking Back: 2010 Carnival Legend Cruise, Part 2 Previous post: LINK LOVE with a TWIST, March 7, 2011 Where Was That Again?
