I have done tons of research on where to stay in the Sevierville area, but I am at a loss. If a hotel has a review there will be tons of good ones and then handfuls of bad reviews. I researched cabins and found reasonable prices on both www.vrbo.com and www.homeaway.com . Looking at a bunch of cabins helped me focus on my (very individual) preferences: one bedroom, night tables on both sides of the bed (we both wear glasses), a normal height kitchen table chair with backs, a hot tub on the deck, a dishwasher.

Way too pricey for us. And we wouldnt be using the waterpark every day, so it's not worth it. But my boys would LOVE it.
Just keep in mind that there are people who can never be satisfied. If the majority of reviews are good ones then I would be confident that it is fine. In Sevierville we love Oak Haven resort, their cabins are fantastic and clean.
