Part of it, no doubt, is that the Twins do not control their site (as has been pointed out) - but ti
It's pretty tiny, part of the Oliva gate area. In fact, though rent car canada I didn't measure it very scientifically, I discovered that moving my camera about six inches one way or the other was enough to make it disappear. So, if you can't get a ticket, find that foot of gatespace and claim it for your own.
Just don't get your hopes up because there's a lot of concourse and standing room between that gate and the action. Odds are quite high that if you stand here during a game, you'll be looking at asses.
The circulation building is such a distinctly separate part of the design, that it never occurred to me that it could contain any ballpark operations. But lo and behold, there are ticket windows -- warm, climate-controlled ticket windows, behind that glass.
Anyone else notice that the attendance figure in MLB The Show 10 lists TF as 22,932? I just played a quick game so perhaps thats a single game figure. Can't imagine that EA would miss something that badly.
I have long thought that the Target Center should change the random looking brown and tan colors on the facade rent car canada to accent and match the random colored limestone on the outside of TF(not the whole outside, just where those two colors are), then it would truly look like TF and the TC belong next to each other.
I REALLY rent car canada don't care why people come either, although I would surely like to believe they came for baseball. Where you lost me was when you said that you don't care if the people in front of you get up several times. How on Earth can that not bother you? That directly impacts your ability to watch the game. You can and will miss balls and strikes and even occasional plays in the field.
Buffalo, I enjoy keeping a scorecard. It is how I enjoy the game. My wife and I often keep track of balls and strikes, including first pitch strikes. It is simply something we do and it is our way of enjoying things. I cannot tell you how often we have had people block our view. Now, before you mention that I cannot expect to see everything all the time, I'll respond by saying that I agree with you on that point. It is only when it gets to be excessive that it becomes an issue, and it becomes excessive for many people. It is only on this point that I might agree with Reusse. My letter to him makes a clear point that I disagree on most everything else he said.
for those of us who never went to a twins game at the met, we've all known in our heads that it will be a real treat to enjoy the major league baseball experience outside. but after seeing these pix, it just kinda hit me how substantially different tf is from the dome. it's like going to the prom w/ the cutest girl from yer class: you know she's gonna look great all dressed to the nines, but when you actually see how hot she looks in her formal dress you just can't help saying 'yeah baby!'
jpberka, I think it's unrealistic to expect everybody rent car canada to sit in their seat when they get to the ballpark and never move. I usually do, especially not that my daughter has reached an age where she can go off to the restrooms on her own, but I'm not going to begrudge someone in front of me if they get up several times during a game. Life's too short to be that petty over missing a pitch or two.
DreDogg rent car canada - Remember that there will be food and beverage carts scattered throughout the concourses as well. I've said this before and I'll say it again. One thing I love about our main concourse is that there is a hard lid (actual ceiling). Most parks have all the ductwork, fire line, etc. all exposed. The hard lid really dresses it up. It is really going to look nice at night when the up lighting is on.
"Tough ticket: Next week, the Twins should pass 21,000 season tickets rent car canada sold for their inaugural season at Target Field, and feels 22,000 is within reach. The Twins also have finalized seating capacity at their new home at 39,504."
Regarding the attendance figure rent car canada on the Show: That attendance figure is for that particular game, and it varies depending on whom you are playing. If the Yankees or a chief rival are in town, the attendance goes way up. If you're playing a subpar team like the Oakland A's, the attendance will be lower.
Please tell us how important each of the following Season Ticket Holder benefits are to you, or to someone you share your tickets with. Some of these benefits may be familiar to you and some of them may be just concepts.
I sure hope they have more stuff planned for T.C. Bear... whoever rent car canada had that job in the Dome had it made. He comes on the field like three times max, never walks the concourse rent car canada or the stands to shake hands. Other than star in commercials he might be the laziest mascot in the MLB. Maybe he can raise the damn flag.
But I agree that it's a pretty rent car canada cushy gig. I'm hoping he A) mixes in a few hot dogs with the T-shirts from that cannon, B) does it more than once or twice a game, and C) is on the plaza for pix after every game.
Good news on the Opening Day BBQ. We now have tons of prizes we're going to give away! Joe Mauer jersey, tees and tons of caps. There should be quite a turnout - I want to hang with the ballparkmagic.com rent car canada crew there!!
rent car canada Even though the concourse looks a little bare, the presence of people along with the various kiosks will perk it up, as others have mentioned. A space that is meant to be used by thousands will always rent car canada seem a little off when it's empty.
TC Bear is funny deal. Once upon a time, the Twins organization was vehemently against having any sort of mascot. Despite poor execution and mitigating circumstances related to the operation of the club in general, the way Twinkie The Loon crashed and burned in the early 1980s steeled the resolve of the team to not have a mascot ever again. Now it's inconceivable that TC Bear will be turfed at any time in the foreseeable rent car canada future.
TC Bear may not be a purists favorite, but he's a hit with kids and if it strengthens the bond between the club and an age group that has gravitated towards rent car canada sports other than baseball in recent years, it's fine by me, especially since the Twins don't over do it like the Phillies with the Phanatic for instance.
Hey Jimmer, Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but I just brought my son down to TF for another walk around and when we passed the main ticket both, there was lots of activity. They appeared to be boxing up the season tickets. This was around 11:00am rent car canada today and they had stacks of boxes they looked to be pretty busy sorting tickets and putting them in nice decorative boxes.
rent car canada I hadn't been down there in a while. Lots of activity, they also had the sound system blasting. I think it was Amy Grant for much of the 30 minutes we were walking around. No problem hearing it outside on the sidewalk. Tables are in the Metropolian club with table clothes already on the tables. I also noticed a bunch of guys walking around with chef hats on. Must be cooking for someone.
I tried to do it that way to keep it anonymous for the buyer, especially since most people just get ripped on here after posting. What would I like to get? As much as possible, but what am I willing rent car canada to sell them for? Well everyone knows you don't show your hand on the first deal.
This is why I wonder if TC Traders is going to be a successful endeavor or if it will just get overrun rent car canada by scalpers. Maybe not a bad thing - I don't have a problem with what the traffic will bear but some have neither the time nor the patience to dicker around - which is why places like StubHub exist. The larger question is, perhaps, will the Twins let this one fly?
I am not a scalper by any means. And I know about StubHub, Ebay, Craigslist, etc... I posted here, and plan to do so in the future at TC Traders, because I respect the community here. I may not have followed rent car canada this site as long as others, but I do frequent the site daily...multiple times. I am not ripping anyone off, I am not looking to turn a huge profit. I am looking to sell the tickets to people that want to see the Twins and Target Field just as much as myself.
I'm the one who emailed Julie Rohloff and it says she is head of promotions. She did say by Friday. The Twins do seem to be pushing things off and doing things late this year, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's not up at all today.
Also, the Twins did announce today that Michelbob's Championship Ribs from Naples, FL will be coming to Target rent car canada Field. Click name for article. I could go for some Michelbobs right now along with some ice-cold Michelob Lights.
rent car canada The promo schedule has been set now for several weeks, why do they wait until the last day to release the promo schedule? It would be nice to eye some single games before the pre-sale on Monday and Tuesday and I am sure there are some non-STH who would like to plan prior to March 13 as well.
Right, TTH. I prance around all day in a costume that looks more like a damn Gopher than it does a bear. Besides, I wanna ENJOY outdoor baseball at TF, not endure it in a body suit that absolutely has got to raise one's body temperature at least 20 degrees.
OK - I need some clarification, AGAIN, rent car canada not to piss anyone rent car canada off or anything, just to make sure I'm on the same page with everyone. 1) Is there a public open house at TF? I thought I heard that it was part of the Gophers ticket purchase on March 27. Is there another date in which to walk around our wonderful new ballpark? PS, I am getting more excited for outdoor baseball with every passing day.
2) Seriously, are there really going to be electronic ticket kiosks outside TF? So, you could walk up at 5AM and buy a ticket for a 7:05 game? Do you all remember those "That's the Ticket" machines they used to have at Rainbow stores? They lasted like 2 years...lol.
Part of it, no doubt, is that the Twins do not control their site (as has been pointed out) - but time after time we get nothing but unreliable information and even outright lies. As has been often pointed out, they are much better and helpful before they have your money than after. It's very frustrating.
Personally, I don't trust any
