Rome is a capital city that should be on everyone's list. And having only been there for 24 hours, it is still on mine to complete! I did however manage to stay at the First Luxury Art Hotel in the centre of Rome, and what an amazing stay it was.
Rome needs no introductions, and although home to some of the most spectacular historic moments and places in the world, as a city it is still ancient in architecture and as such the skyline is actually quite flat. However, the views from the three tier rooftop rental cars hawaii bar at the First Luxury Art Hotel are quite spectacular, and show that you are pinpoint in Rome's centre. You can see the Vatican, Squares and of course the coliseum, and on a clear sunny day, you won't want to leave, lapping up the sunshine and the views.
With just 29 rooms, the First Luxury Art Hotel is very much boutique, rental cars hawaii with 6 of them doubles, and 23 quite magnificent suites. Featuring a different layout and bespoke art in each one, no two stays will ever be the same. The 6 standard rooms are of a good size and space, but the suites are where it's at. Mostly featuring seating for 3 – 4 people, a double shower and great desk space, they really do become a home from home.
Of course Art is a centre piece, and the wonderful Bull staring at you at the entrance carrying retro analogue telephones on its back is a quirky place to start. Overall we were thoroughly impressed with the First Luxury Art Hotel, and if you are looking for a great hotel as a base to explore Rome, the First Luxury Art Hotel could be for you.
