I m looking to set aside blocks in Manhattan and Long Island. Thus far I ve inquired about the Chelsea Savoy Hotel in Manhattan and 3 chain ones near my venue. I hope to stay around $150nt preferably near Penn or Grand Central Station (LIRR) but not necessary.
The Roosevelt santa cruz vacation rentals Hotel and the Radisson Lexington Hotel are near to Grand Central and both gave great (relative for NYC) rates. The Roosevelt is much nicer, but about $20 more per room, and the Radisson is smaller but $149/$159 per room which is a steal! While things may have changed in the last few months, I was also looking for hotels near Grand Central and I did a ton of research and these were the best that I found (neither requires a deposit or minimum room fill either, which is nice).
I just called marriott for various rates for wedding guests and this was one of the lowest prices. it was a great location too, as our wedding santa cruz vacation rentals was in midtown. i think their regular fare is $200+. i know, several friends mentioned how i got this deal .
