Has anyone used Firefly or Sixt car rentals at Fort Lauderdale airport? As you know the brand names are ridiculously high but these pick ups are off the airport premises. It seems you register at the airport rental counter but than are shuttled to the car.
Sixt is a major international car-rental firm. Firefly is an off-shoot of Hertz. I've rented from Sixt in Europe but never in the U.S. I have no experience with Firefly and none with either company in Fort Lauderdale.

Thanks. The car is for the end of September and I being going down about twice a year. I thought the rates are high due to the taxes and fees and that is why it is substantially cheaper off-premises.
