But sometimes a smell can be too overpowering. Or worse, sometimes you just don't like the smell at

Over at HotelChatter , they've been geeking out about tracking down various hotel scents --you know, when you walk into a lobby and are assaulted calmed by the white green jasmine lavender bouquet basket of roses scent that's being stealthily pumped through the lobby.
But sometimes a smell can be too overpowering. Or worse, sometimes you just don't like the smell at all--whether they are blasting it through the air vents or if it's just a candle burning at the front desk. Indeed someone already cheap hotels orlando complained about the scent of Aria :
The "signature scent" is so strong it caused my boyfriend to sneeze and have nose issues for the rest of the trip (the smoke didnt help either but HEY its vegas...). Its kind of a mixture of cheap perfume and something tropical... its really bad. Beautiful hotel though!
Personally, we don't remember the Aria scent being that strong but we do know that the Venetian/Palazzo smell is a doozy. Fortunately, we like that jasmine scent so we don't mind it. Buffalo Bill's on the other hand stands cheap hotels orlando out in our olfactory memories as smelling cheap hotels orlando entirely of smoke. Blech.
But what about you? What hotel scents in Vegas do you think are the best or are the worst? And we're trying to keep it clean here so don't say, "Throw-up outside Circus cheap hotels orlando Circus" or anything like that. Ah, whatever. Go ahead and say it! Just do it all in comments below.
I'm in Vegas atm (yay me!), and when we walked into the GN a week ago, the first thing I said was "Ohh this smells like the GN" I have no idea what the smell is like, apart from the fact it smells like the Nugget!
Favourite hotel smell in Vegas? Bellagio - specifically the smell of the audience as they come out of the O theatre - they use an incense cheap hotels orlando or something to mask the smell of the chlorine in the pool I think and it smells divine.
We stayed at the Venetian in February and had always known it kinda smells like a plug in but actually 'living' there for 8 days finished me off. Not that I drink to excess cheap hotels orlando when I'm in Vegas, natch, but my poorly tummy couldn't handle the smell. I don't care whether those plugs are made by a family company or by Scent Air they're not for me.
Venetian on the other hand.. makes me physically ill, gives me a head ache and reminds me of every other old lady at church wearing some sort of overly flowery scent to cover their own decay. cheap hotels orlando Neither Church or decay are not something I want to think about while in Vegas.
cheap hotels orlando I also love The Mirage... both in the waterfall area (because the moving water creates some of the only real clean air on the strip) and also in their casino. cheap hotels orlando I can't describe it, but it just makes me feel relaxed... much like their beds and everything else Mirage.
Walked through again giving a tour to some friends visiting. They wanted to visit "The Death Ray." Haha. Anyway cheap hotels orlando All commented that Aria smelled like a vanilla car air freshener cheap hotels orlando that was opened too much. I had to agree.
