As many of you know, I've been working on/planning a family cruise to Alaska for next summer.....most likely the last week of August or first week in September. hilton hotels in atlanta ga I've purchased several hilton hotels in atlanta ga books on "Alaska," and have been doing a lot of research; however, I've not found a lot of information on the best cruise lines, or the "best bang for the buck," so to speak.
I was just wondering if any of you, here on Gather, have taken cruises to Alaska and, if so, what cruise line(s) did you use? We want to be able to have a wonderful cruise, being able to see lots and lots of wild life, possibly take dog sled tours of parts of Alaska, as well as participating in other great land excursions.

With all the traveling we do, we've never taken the time to go on a cruise to Alaska! We do have many friends who have gone, and all say crusing it is the way to go. Let me do some research and see if I can't help you. What a fun time for you.

We have been on Royal Caribbean when we went to Jamaica and Haiti but wanted to try another cruise line, for a change......I think I've heard that Holland America is a pretty nice cruise line......the Royal Caribbean that we took held 4,300 passengers, with 13 levels on it....wow....a huge ship!!!!
Thanks, anyhow! There are just so very many cruise lines, it's hard to know which offer(s) the best "experiences." It really is overwhelming, trying to get this all planned, with so many, many choices~!

I told the guys we ARE going to make a new family tradition and take at least one cruise a year, starting hilton hotels in atlanta ga next year.....I have the "travel bug" badly and get so tired/bored of just staying around here, even with all my "projects." Have heard Alaska's one of the most beautiful places around and hubby's hilton hotels in atlanta ga always wanted to go.
Thanks, anyhow.....hmmmmmmm, well, I guess I'll just wait till we go to the AAA Travel Agency "Special" Showing of their 2013 Alaskan cruises and see what they have to say........we've been on two cruises hilton hotels in atlanta ga but want to go on different ones.....starting next year, we're having a new "tradition" of taking at least one, if not two, cruise(s) hilton hotels in atlanta ga a year.......I have the "travel bug" sooooo bad and want to go, go, go.....and travel and see the beautiful world!
I told hubby about you guys maybe going on an Alaskan cruise.....he told me to check with you....that it would be kinda cool if we got on the same one!!! Hey, next Wednesday night, AAA Travel Agency is having a special program (I had to make reservations for it for us) on their 2013 Alaskan cruises/tours......it sounds like a neat program, with drawings, snacks, etc.........I guess they offer something like 15 or so different Alaskan cruises/tours.....yikes!!!!!!!!!
not sure,, hilton hotels in atlanta ga he not into planning yet,, he will be the last minute guy and just go for it... he also wants to buy land in Iowa near nichaboche River(sp) hilton hotels in atlanta ga to camp, so if we do that then we need a camper or trailer,, then a boat,, see where this is going LOL
I'm pretty disappointed I wasn't able to get a lot of info here.....guess we'll just have to wait and let AAA Travel do ALL the picking and choosing for us.....ughhhhh, I don't like that idea but may not have any other choice......I just don't like to use the same cruise line repeatedly (although I guess it would be good for their "Rewards Program" ) but like to try new and different things.
Yes, yes, yes.......we definitely hilton hotels in atlanta ga ARE going, Sandy! I've been saving and saving the $$$ like crazy.....getting "creative," trying to do lots more surveys, working harder on my "fast earning" rewards programs and have even started back in refunding again...........all that I earn is going either in the cruise account or the new camera account.....yes, I am getting a really good quality, fast camera for the trip......am soooo excited, hilton hotels in atlanta ga I can hardly think about anything else. I told the guys we really hilton hotels in atlanta ga need to cut way down on Christmas because we need to concentrate on the cruise; hilton hotels in atlanta ga however, we will still have a few presents under the tree!!!!!
