If your in the mood for a night of dancing ,  or a savory meal, a peaceful westin century plaza hotel walk along the Red River, or even a cruise  then Downtown Shreveport and the RiverWalk Park is the destination.    From the Hilton Garden Inn Shreveport LA going west on Financial Plz toward RAsberry LN, turn right onto Pines Rd,  Merge onto I-20 toward Monroe, take US-71 N, LA-1 N, Spring St exit,  turn slight left onto Spring st/ US-71 N? LA- 1 N,  take the 2 nd right onto Crockett St, finally turn left onto Clyde Fant Memorial Pky.
The Riverwalk Park that sits beside westin century plaza hotel the Barnwell Art Garden Center on the riverfront. The park simply consists of paved trails and benches that run down beside the river and led up to the center. There is the main fountain and several other fountains which shoot water at set intervals. The Red River District is located in downtown Shreveport under the Texas Street Bridge and is a quaint area. It consist of great events, dining, dancing, and live music on the weekends. It features westin century plaza hotel daiquiri bar Wet Willie s and the Funny Bone Comedy Club. There is also a few restuarants. The bands do not play during the winter and after a certain time at night you must be 21 to enter the area.  One of the attractions along the Red River is the Spirit of the Red River Cruise which is a quaint little one hour journey down the Red River and Cross Bayou. The boat is a 35-passenger enclosed boat with windows. You can enjoy the scenic view of the water from the small observation deck or ride on the inside. The extremely nice Captain will provide some brief history of Shreveport-Bossier along with several other interesting facts on the area. There is opportunity to see alligator, blue heron, white egret, kingfisher, gulls, snakes, turtles, and fish on the ride as well.
World Indoor Wiffle ball Championship??!...I recently had the occasion to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Shreveport, Louisiana. Walking in the door I knew that I was in one of those fancy shmancy hotels you see on the tv box.
I stay here when I have business in Shreveport. I enjoy it better than staying at the Downtown Hilton and I like to stay away from the Casinos. Nice clean hotel that is close to the airport. Very typical new Hilton Garden Inn.
Everything was perfect!.... As a Gov't traveler, westin century plaza hotel I've had the opportunity to stay at hotels all over the US and have not once found a hotel with staff as friendly and helpful as at the Hilton Garden Inn in Shreveport.
Excellent beds, clean and modern westin century plaza hotel -- Five Pillow Rating on Sleep...I don't believe I had stayed at a Hilton Garden Inn previously, but this was a very good mid-range hotel. westin century plaza hotel The bed was superb -- which is about 90% of the hotel experience. I got great sleep -- I rate this hotel Five Pillows on sleep comfort.

Excellent hotel!... The room was excellent, clean and well furnished, with very nice amenities to include a microwave, mini-fridge, internet, and and adjustable comfort mattress on the bed! Simply wonderful.
