The movements don't end there either, with the nine-night Canary Islands cruises from October 26th 2013 to April 15th 2014 and November 2nd 2013 to April 13th 2014 aboard the Norwegian Spirit also changed with a port call to Casablanca replacing the stop off at Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
If you DO end up in Casablanca I would strongly recommend that you book a tour. It's most certainly not a port for getting off the ship and having a wander - there's nothing to see in the area. The captain, during his Gala reception the evening before docking, strongly suggested that one book a tour.
The docks are very much a working docks and when I arrived it was a damp morning and the dockside was covered in a black sludge. The ship, Azura, had covered all the carpets with polythene on the dis/embarkation deck. The coaches had newspapers down on the steps into the bus and down the passageway. (Self propelled wheelchair users - get some disposable gloves from your cabin steward.)When we got back in the afternoon the sun had dried the sludge into a dust which got everywhere. Don't lean on your balcony rail without giving it a wipe first. (A tip passed on through personal experience.)
