Sorry, but am I the only one that hated the NYTimes article? It was like, Hey, Philadelphia started not eating at McDonald s last week. Good job, little boutique hotels and new york guy! You might know something about a food trend or two, but nothing we haven t known for years. Only some of your food is horrible now! Really, am I taking it too personally? I love New York, so I m not just a hater, but I did hate that article.
I think you re taking it too personally, NYT has written many nice articles about Phila as a food and tourist destination, even an article boutique hotels and new york about E. Passyunk last summer. Nearly all take the there s more than just cheesesteaks tone, which is annoying, but New Yorkers basically turn their nose up at the rest of the world so I wouldn t take it personally.
We ve had a lot of great food here for a while, but it really is only over the past 2 years or so where there are literally dozens of accessible restaurants to recommend to visitors, at all price points.
