Monique : I have travelled extensively throughout the U.S. and Canada. I have been to every province, except those in the Maritimes. I love Istanbul and the cultural intersections of the East and West that you can find there. Istanbul has a modern, yet old-world feel, and is an absolutely dazzling city. Monique : I am drawn to the travel industry because it allows me to fulfill people's wildest dreams! I also love helping people. Travelling gives us so much: a sense of our place in the world, unique experiences of stunning landscapes and terrains, a wealth of knowledge of culture and history, a sense of excitement and adventure, and so much more! I also, of course, love travelling myself and I think working in the travel industry makes use of my best strengths and passions.
Monique : In my spare time? What's that? I am a Mom, so I spend a lot of time with my 9 year old son! Of course, in my spare time, I like to travel. Even if it is just little trips around the B.C. area, we do like to "getaway." I love spending time researching my next trip.
I love food and diverse cuisine, and love visiting my favourite restaurants, and finding new ones, too. I also do a lot of reading and writing. I love arts and culture and like visiting galleries and attending shows (ie. theatre, movies, music, etc). I love walking around our beautiful city, and taking in the ever-changing scenery. I love people and also love spending my free time making meaningful connections with my friends and family, as I'm sure everyone does.
